Frequently asked questions
What counts as an "article"?
Any single call to POST /v1/detect counts as one article, regardless of content length (up to 50,000 characters per call).
What happens when I hit my quota?
The API returns 429 rate_limit_exceeded and no pipeline runs — so you're never charged for rejected requests. Monitor your remaining quota via the X-RateLimit-Remaining header on every response. Quotas reset on the first of each month, UTC.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Use the "Manage billing" button in your dashboard to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time through our self-service billing portal. Changes take effect immediately.
What languages are supported?
English and Hebrew are fully supported, including Hebrew dog-whistle patterns. The LLM-backed pipeline (stages 1–3) handles most languages, though English and Hebrew have the deepest coverage.
Is my content stored?
Detection results (signals, confidence scores, snippets) are persisted for your audit trail. The full article text is not stored — only a SHA-256 content hash for deduplication.
