What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address and a session token. When you call the API, we store the detection result (signals, confidence scores, character-level snippets, and a SHA-256 hash of the submitted content). We do not store the full text of submitted content.

How we use your data

Your email is used for authentication (magic-link sign-in) and account communications. API detection results are stored to provide your audit trail — a core product feature required for DSA compliance. We do not sell, share, or use your data for model training.

Third-party services

We use OpenAI's API for content analysis (stages 1–3 of the detection pipeline). Submitted content is sent to OpenAI for processing and is subject to OpenAI's API data usage policies. We use Stripe for payment processing and Postmark for transactional email.

Data retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Detection audit records are retained indefinitely to support compliance use cases. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting [email protected].
